Pastoral Care means caring for one another at Church but also caring for people in our community.
Here are some of the ways we try to help:
We visit the elderly and give communion to people in their homes if they are unable to get to church. We also go to the local Care Homes and have a short service of communion in each one every month.
We keep aware of those we know who are not well and try to make sure they are all visited and cared for.
We are developing opportunities for prayer and remembering. These include having a candle area in church to pray for loved ones.
Several members of the pastoral care group are trained in listening and bereavement care. We are always happy to meet anyone who would like to talk.
For more information please initially contact the vicar, Stuart Grant, who will direct you to those equipped to help.
